Our ingredients

To make our food, 10.6 kg of meat is dried for a 12 kg bag, so that it can be processed better in our chunks. With the right amount of vegetables, fruit and herbs, Yourdog is a healthy, nutritious choice for the dog.

Buffalo

We have carefully examined the breed characteristics of the Ca de bou. We have also conducted research into the properties of the FCI breed section and the FCI breed group to which the Ca de bou belongs. Chamomile

We can add chamomile to Yourdog dog food because it could make a positive contribution to the prevention of breed-specific complaints in relation to the stomach, intestines, skin, rheumatism, nerves, inflammation and urinary tract.

Chamomile can have a mildly soothing effect on the dog and could therefore be used in dogs that often experience stress. In addition, it can have a positive effect on dogs with nervous digestion. It can have a despasmodic and antiseptic effect.

Parsley

Parsley is a biennial, winter-hardy, herbaceous plant from the lacecap family. Parsley has been used as a medicinal herb for hundreds of years. There are dozens of diseases that parsley fights. According to various sources, it cures, among other things, diarrhea, anemia and ear infection. It is packed with more iron than, for example, spinach. Parsley also contains other minerals such as silicon, as well as vitamins B and C and carotene.

Parsley is a natural source of vitamins C, A and K. This can contribute to the immune system and the eyes and the cardiovascular system and the liver. Parsley also has anti-inflammatory properties and can have a diuretic effect, keeping the dog's bladder free of pollution.

Raspberries

The raspberry is a plant from the rose family and belongs to the genus Rubus. The cultivation of raspberries dates back to the Middle Ages and occurs naturally throughout Europe.

Raspberries contain many substances that can support the dog's health, such as vitamins such as vitamin C, minerals such as manganese and antioxidants. Furthermore, raspberries are low in sugar and calories and rich in good fiber.

Puppy, adult or senior?

To help you make the right choice between our Ca de bou dog food variants, you can use the following guidelines. If your Ca de bou is younger than 11 months, choose the Puppy variant. For a Ca de bou older than 7 years we recommend the Yourdog Ca de bou senior. If your dog is older than 11 months and younger than 7 years old, you can choose the Adult variant.

Nutritional advice

Switching advice

If you switch to Yourdog from another food brand, we recommend following the following steps. For the first step, feed 25% Yourdog and 75% of the old dog food. The dog can get used to this for two days. Then you feed 50% Yourdog and 50% of the old dog food. It is important that you let the dog get used to this again for two or three days. Then you mix 75% Yourdog and 25% of the old dog food. The dog has now almost completely switched to Yourdog. Do this for 2 days. You can then feed 100% Yourdog Ca de bou dog food at your own discretion.

Storage advice

After opening the Yourdog packaging, the food is exposed to oxygen, moisture and light, which can affect the shelf life and taste. It is therefore important to store the food properly after opening the bag, preferably in an airtight storage box or barrel in a dry, cool and dark place. It is best not to put the food loose in the barrel, but to place it in the barrel with the entire bag, which you close as best as possible.
