Complementary animal feed

Sprouted seeds are rich in essential fatty acids, easily digestible carbohydrates and vitamins (especially Vitamin B).

Providing germinated seeds is therefore strongly recommended. Moreover, most birds are fond of sprouted seeds.

Composition: rapeseed, Dari red, Dari white, katjang idjoe

Analytical components per kg: moisture 107.12 gr. crude fat 180.39 gr. crude protein 154.00 gr. crude fiber 60.54 gr. raw ash 26.46 gr. phosphorus 4.12 gr. sodium 0.05 gr. magnesium 1.51 gr. dry matter 893.79 gr. calcium 1.98 gr.

nutritional advice :
1. Place the seeds in a clean container in plenty of water and let them soak for 18 to 20 hours.
2. Then rinse the seeds well and let the seeds drain well.
3. Leave the seeds at room temperature. Possibly covered with a damp cloth and never in direct sunlight.
4. Repeat rinsing the seeds a few more times (every 3 hours) to prevent yeast formation.
5. Feed the seeds to the birds as soon as a 1-2 mm sprout has developed.

• If the sprouting seeds smell sour after germination, do not feed them to the birds (throw them away!).
• Feed a limited amount at a time (it should all be eaten within 2-3 hours).
• Sprouted seeds have a limited shelf life (approx. 1 day in the refrigerator)
