Our ingredients

Buffalo

We have also conducted research into the properties of the FCI breed section and the FCI breed group to which the Fila brasileiro belongs. From these studies, in consultation with a leading Dutch nutritionist, ingredients have been selected that optimally benefit the health and well-being of the Fila brasileiro.

Chamomile

Chamomile is a genus from the composite family. Chamomile is widely cultivated in Hungary and Eastern Europe. It also grows wild throughout Europe. The name Chamomile comes from a Greek word meaning ground apple and refers to the apple scent. Chamomile has a great reputation in natural medicine.

Parsley

Parsley is a biennial, winter-hardy, herbaceous plant from the lacecap family. Parsley has been used as a medicinal herb for hundreds of years. There are dozens of diseases that parsley fights. Parsley is a natural source of vitamins C, A and K. This can contribute to the immune system and the eyes and the cardiovascular system and the liver. Parsley also has anti-inflammatory properties and can have a diuretic effect, keeping the dog's bladder free of pollution.

Celery

Celery is a plant from the umbellifer family. The plant is often found along the coast on wet ground.

Celery is rich in vitamins A, C and K, but also contains a lot of folic acid and potassium. In addition, celery is fat-free, rich in fiber and very low in calories.

Puppy, adult or senior?

To help you make the right choice between our Fila brasileiro dog food varieties, you can use the following guidelines. If your Fila brasileiro is younger than 11 months, choose the Puppy variant. For a Fila brasileiro older than 7 years old, we recommend the Yourdog Fila brasileiro senior. If your dog is older than 11 months and younger than 7 years old, you can choose the Adult variant.

Nutritional advice

Switching advice

If you switch to Yourdog from another food brand, we recommend following the following steps. For the first step, feed 25% Yourdog and 75% of the old dog food. The dog can get used to this for two days. Then you feed 50% Yourdog and 50% of the old dog food. It is important that you let the dog get used to this again for two or three days. Then you mix 75% Yourdog and 25% of the old dog food. The dog has now almost completely switched to Yourdog. Do this for 2 days. You can then feed 100% Yourdog Fila brasileiro dog food at your own discretion.

Storage advice

After opening the Yourdog packaging, the food is exposed to oxygen, moisture and light, which can affect the shelf life and taste. It is therefore important to store the food properly after opening the bag, preferably in an airtight storage box or barrel in a dry, cool and dark place. It is best not to put the food loose in the barrel, but to place it in the barrel with the entire bag, which you close as best as possible.
