The Pure Nature Tranquil (Rest) Dog And Cat 75gr provides peace and relaxation for a longer period of time during stress such as fireworks. This complementary pet food is suitable for dogs and cats.

Composition: per 1 gram, Dong Quai, Hop (Humulus lupulus), Japanese walnut tree (Ginkgo biloba), Hawthorn (Crataegus oxyacantha), St. John's wort (Hypericum perforatum), 90.1 mg L-Tryptophan, 90.1 mg Vitamin B3 (nicotinamide), 73.0 mg Magnesium (as -citrate), 37.4 mg Vitamin B6 (as pyridoxine HCl) 28.5 mg Zinc (as -L-methionine) and 9.12 mg Inositol. A dilution of Natrium phosphoricum.

Properties per ingredient : Dong quai (Angelica sinensis) Angelica sinensis – Chinese Angelica: Originally, Dong Quai was used for its balancing effects on the female hormone system. Dong Quai may help reduce discomfort and cramps, mood swings, irritable posture and bloating.

Humulus Lupulus, this herb has a strong relaxing and soothing effect. Hops promote digestion.

Ginkgo biloba for better concentration and memory.

St. John's wort is used as a psychological tonic.

Inositol has a calming effect. This Vitamin B3 compound consists of six molecules of niacin bonded to one molecule of inositol, an unofficial B vitamin. As soon as this compound enters the body, the molecule is slowly split and niacin gradually enters the bloodstream, where it can exert its effect. The presence of inositol slows down the release of niacin.

Two-style hawthorn (Crataegus) for the heart. It is prescribed, among other things, for nervousness.

L-Tryptophan has a soothing effect. L-Tryptophan is an essential amino acid that is, however, not abundantly represented in the diet of animals. It is the only precursor of the neurotransmitter serotonin. Serotonin levels in the brain can be increased by taking L-Tryptophan. L-Tryptophan has hunger-suppressing properties, so it can be used for weight loss.

Dosage and application:

Unless the doctor or therapist prescribes otherwise.

The optimal dosage 1 - 2 x daily:

Dog > 25 kg 3 scoops

Dog 10-25 kg 2 scoops

Dog < 10 kg

Cat 1 scoop

1 scoop contains approximately 1 gram.

Administer
Can be given with food. Because this powder contains herbs, it is recommended to start with a small amount to get the animal used to the taste. Moisten the powder so that it does not blow out of the food bowl.

Advice for use
Every animal reacts differently to the stated dosage. The dosage is quite precise, look carefully at the animal's behavior. If results are insufficient, increase the dosage slowly. When the desired behavior has been achieved, a maintenance dose can be sought, slowly reducing it to approximately half of the indicated daily dose.

Treatment duration
In an acute situation, the duration of treatment is relatively short. This can vary from a few days to 3 weeks. If improvement continues, continue administering this product for a few days.

In case of long-term discomfort, the effect is usually visible after 1 to 3 weeks. If improvement occurs, you can switch to a maintenance dose. This is usually half of the dosage indicated on the package. When dosing this product, pay close attention to the animal's reaction. A higher dose may be required initially, but this product can safely be given in double doses. Gradually reduce the dose to the lowest possible dose.

This product can be given permanently. It is advisable to take a break week after every 6 to 8 weeks. This means that the 'incentive' can be offered again after the stop week. Resume treatment immediately if there is reason to do so.

Save
Avoid direct sunlight and store this product in a dry place at a temperature between 5-20C. Keep out of reach of children. The expiry date is stated on the label and the box.

Synergy and combinations with other products
This product can be used without objection in combination with natural health products and regular medicines. Contraindications

Side effects
To date, side effects of this product are not known or reported. With some dilutions and extracts, a short-term worsening may occur at the start of treatment. This means that the animal reacts to the product. In case of a severe increase, halve the dosage or stop temporarily and then gradually build up again.
